Circular Wellness was founded by Usha and Joshua King, bringing together lived experience, Rongoā Māori practice, and a holistic approach to wellbeing.
A unique aspect of Circular Wellness is Azra Bay, the resident kuri, who forms part of the healing environment. Her presence brings a calm, grounded quality, supporting the space through intuitive awareness, protection, and connection.
Within Māori healing traditions, kuri are recognised for their sensitivity to shifts in energy and emotion, helping to hold and stabilise the mauri of a space. Azy expresses this naturally, contributing to a safe and supportive environment for those who enter.
The practice was established in Taumarunui, where the foundations of Circular Wellness were laid, and has since moved into the Taupō District as the work has expanded, continuing its mahi within a new rohe.
At Circular Wellness, we offer education and support services for individuals and groups seeking to improve their quality of life. We believe that true health and wellness is holistic and requires a multi-faceted approach.
We acknowledge the varying degrees of life experience and environmental influences that shape the individual perspective, and that each of us can make the choice to thrive within these realities.
